Who doesn’t dream of it? A successful hospitality concept that is right from A to Z?
Hospitality businesses regularly have to deal with trends that are often short-lived. It is therefore important to have a concept that responds to trends and at the same time radiates a unique identity. But how? Last year, the 5 hospitality concepts below have been realized by Kaja’s designers. All of them are different, unique and fit the specialism of the entrepreneur.
Pure flavours and a Scandinavian interior without any bells or whistles. These characteristics belong to Restaurant The Lemon Tree in Deventer. The concept of The Lemon Tree is simple: you go here to enjoy a culinary surprise in a fine ambiance. This style is characterised by soft contours, calm colours and natural materials. The tables and chairs have been specially selected by Kaja’s designer. The eye-catcher is the lemon tree that is prominent in the shop. Going down the stairs, you enter the pearl of the company, an open kitchen with a large chef’s table. A total concept that makes sense.

In the heart of Delft you will find Café Brasserie Monastère on the corner of the Beestenmarkt. The brasserie owes its name to the Minderbroeder monastery that stood on the square until 1595. On one side of the café you can enjoy a drink at the authentic bar. On the other side of the building you can enjoy the French cuisine in the cozy brasserie. The combination of old elements of the building with classic furniture manage to create an approachable and elegant atmosphere. With the subway tiles, the white marble and the well-known bistro chairs, it is as if you imagine yourself in France.

Jonnie and Thérèse Boer of De Liberije in Zwolle and Brass Boer on Bonaire opened a new restaurant in Zwolle at the beginning of May: Brass Boer Thuis. Brass Boer Thuis has been transformed into a cosy bistro with a warm atmosphere, partly thanks to the use of yellow and orange colors. Brass Boer Thuis serves the same type of dishes as Brass Boer on Bonaire, but with ingredients from the Zwolle region. As such, it is a new ‘bistro-brasserie style’ where many dishes go straight from the wood feed to the guests. It has become a place to enjoy an evening, just as atmospheric and convivial as in a real Home!

At Zuzu Kitchen & Bar in Ede you’ll be amazed. In the colorful exotic interior is in every corner of the bar something special to discover. You feel the trendy and hip atmosphere from Miami. Each part of the colorful interior has its own unique atmosphere. The colors exotic pink, adventurous green and warm yellow gold but also the exotic accessories like the flamingos that are around the corner, create a tropical vibe. A cozy place where you can always go for a snack and a drink.

In a historic building in the center of Almelo Gastrobar 1910 opened its doors. A restaurant where it revolves around good meat and fish dishes.
The building was decorated by Kaja Interieurs years ago, but was completely restyled for Gastrobar 1910. The bar and kitchen have remained, but the rest is completely redecorated.
Because of the warm and natural tones, it has become a modern design. The gold elements in the interior serve as a real eye-catcher. ‘The golden logo matches the interior, but also the tableware, clothing and menu. The well thought-out lighting ensures that the gold wallpaper, the wine climate cabinet and the gold wall decorations stand out even more.’ Combined with the luxurious velvet upholstery and botanical elements, the restaurant has acquired a chic and modern look. A place where you can enjoy, meet and share. A convivial interior style for the perfect night out.
