Comfort that keeps guests seated for longer

Comfort plays a major role in how long your guests stay seated and continue ordering. That is why the Calypso has been designed with generous seat cushions featuring a multi-layer filling of high-density foam. The seat slopes from a higher front to a lower back, providing comfortable support for the body and helping to prevent you from sliding forwards. The back cushions are filled with high-density foam and polyester fibres, offering comfortable support during extended periods of sitting. With a seat height of 40 cm, a seat depth of 52.5 cm and armrests at a height of 75.5 cm, every guest can sit back and relax, even after a long afternoon.

Outdoor furniture has to withstand demanding conditions, and this set has been built accordingly. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in Solution Dyed Polyester. This high-quality outdoor fabric is UV-resistant and water-repellent, helping the colour remain beautiful even when the set is exposed to sunlight day after day. A rain shower is therefore no problem either.

The fully woven backrest construction is made from D5 rope with a water-resistant PVC core that dries quickly. The open structure of the rope weave allows air to circulate around the back, helping your guests stay comfortable and cool even on warm days. The powder-coated aluminium frame is rust-resistant and designed to withstand wear, scratches and intensive daily use.

Can the lounge set stay outside all year round?

The materials have been developed for outdoor use and offer excellent resistance to sun, rain and moisture. However, we recommend storing the cushions indoors or under a protective cover during prolonged periods of frost, snow or persistent rain. This can significantly extend the lifespan of the upholstery. The aluminium frame and teak table tops can remain outdoors throughout the year.

In the hospitality industry, every minute counts, so maintenance should be simple. The Solution Dyed Polyester upholstery can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. The rope weave and aluminium frame can be wiped clean with ease. The untreated FSC® teak used for the table tops will gradually develop a beautiful silvery-grey patina. If you would like to maintain its warm natural colour, treat the wood with teak oil once or twice a year. This set requires no further maintenance.
