The interior of our own restaurant: atmospheric & inspiring.

When you work on the design and realization of hospitality interiors every day, your own restaurant is naturally the perfect place to bring everything together. We wanted to create an interior that is first and foremost atmospheric, warm and inviting, while also showing just how many possibilities there are when it comes to hospitality interior design. That is why we deliberately chose an interior where different styles, materials, colours and furniture come together. The restaurant of the Hospitalty Designcenter is therefore not only a place to welcome guests, but also an inspiring environment for customers who are considering their own hospitality interior.
When designing our restaurant, one question was central: how can we create an atmospheric and cohesive space in which as many different elements as possible can shine?
The result is a balanced combination of materials, colours and furniture styles. By combining different elements, we have created an interior that remains interesting to look at. At the same time, the right sense of cohesion ensures that the overall space does not feel busy or disjointed.
This balance is particularly important to us. After all, a hospitality interior does not have to consist of just one style or one collection. By combining different pieces of furniture and materials in a thoughtful way, you can create a character that is truly your own.
One of the ways we want to inspire our customers is by incorporating different hospitality chairs throughout the restaurant. Chairs have a significant influence on the overall look and feel of a space.
By varying models, colours and materials, different areas can have their own atmosphere. For example, a comfortable armchair can create a completely different look from a compact hospitality chair. By consciously positioning these elements, we create more dynamism throughout the interior.
At the same time, we always consider comfort and functionality. A chair should not only look good, but also be comfortable to sit in and suit the way the space is used.
A restaurant is about more than just tables and chairs. That is why we have created different types of seating areas throughout the interior.
These include, for example, a large table in the centre of the room, benches along the sides and bartables around the stage. Each area has its own look and function.
A large table can create a social and inviting atmosphere, while a bar table offers a more informal place to sit. Sofas can in turn create a comfortable and atmospheric setting.
By combining these different seating options, we have created an interior where guests can choose the spot that best suits their particular moment.
In addition to furniture, materials play an important role in the overall look and feel of the restaurant. Wood, metal, fabrics and other materials each create their own distinctive atmosphere.
By using materials in different ways throughout the space, we create more depth in the interior. At the same time, we look for connections between the different elements. For example, a particular colour can be repeated in several areas, while different materials complement one another.
This is also an important principle in our projects for customers: variety does not mean that everything has to be different. By bringing certain elements back throughout the interior, you create a cohesive overall look.
A place for customers, business partners and colleagues to find inspiration and connect with one another.
Because we want to inspire our customers, we wanted to showcase a wide range of possibilities. But of course, the restaurant first and foremost needed to be a pleasant hospitality space.
That is why we aimed to find the right balance between inspiration and atmosphere. The different hospitality furniture and materials have become part of the interior rather than being presented as separate displays. As a result, the space feels like a real restaurant, while customers can also discover different ideas and possibilities.
Which chair appeals to you? Which table suits your concept? Which combination of materials works well? And how can you create different seating areas within a single interior?
In this way, the restaurant of the Hospitality Designcenter provides answers to many of these questions.
A good hospitality interior tells a story. It is not just about beautiful furniture, but about the combination of atmosphere, functionality, comfort and visual appeal. With the restaurant in Almelo, we have brought all these elements together.
By combining different pieces of hospitality furniture, materials, colours and seating options, we have created an interior that is both atmospheric and versatile. A place where guests feel comfortable and hospitality professionals can find inspiration for their own business.
Ultimately, we believe that the most beautiful hospitality interiors are created when functionality and visual appeal complement one another. Whether you are furnishing a restaurant, café, hotel, bar, company canteen or another location where hospitality plays an important role, it is precisely by combining different elements in a thoughtful way that you create an interior with its own character.
Curious about what is possible for your hospitality business? In our restaurant, we are happy to show you how different pieces of furniture, materials and styles can come together to create one atmospheric whole. After all, finding inspiration is often the first step towards an interior that truly fits your concept.

Which materials are suitable for a company restaurant?
Furniture in a company restaurant is used intensively every day. That is why strong, easy-to-maintain and durable materials are particularly suitable. The material should not only match the desired look, but also be resistant to stains, scratches, knocks and frequent cleaning. Suitable materials include HPL, aluminium, as well as durable and low-maintenance upholstery fabrics, for example.
Sustainable furniture for your company restaurant: What should you consider?
When choosing sustainable furniture for a company restaurant, it is important to look beyond the material a piece of furniture is made from. Durability, quality and ease of maintenance are equally important. Furniture in a company restaurant is used intensively every day and therefore needs to withstand frequent sitting, moving, cleaning and knocks. By choosing sturdy furniture made from high-quality materials that can last for many years, you can avoid having to replace tables and chairs too quickly.
Can Kaja help with the design of a company restaurant?
Yes. Our interior designers can develop a complete interior concept for company canteens, corporate restaurants, sports club canteens and other commercial hospitality spaces.
