It was a day full of passion, inspiration and pride. Last Monday, the big day finally arrived: the grand opening of the Hospitality Design Centre in Almelo. A milestone for Kaja and an inspiring meeting place for hospitality entrepreneurs, designers and professionals from the Netherlands and far beyond. It was a day that exceeded all expectations and will be talked about for a long time to come.

Hospitality entrepreneurs from far and wide came to Almelo to witness this special opening. The atmosphere was immediately electric: curiosity, enthusiasm and a shared passion for hospitality and design. Exactly what our Hospitality Design Centre stands for.

Next-level inspiration

The new showroom, covering more than 3,500 m², is much more than an inspiration centre. It has become a world of experience, a place where ideas come to life and where functionality and aesthetics reinforce each other. We proudly presented our latest collections of indoor and outdoor hospitality furniture, carefully arranged in realistic settings. From stylish restaurants to trendy bars, HIGOLD’s outdoor collections were also presented in various combinations. Completely new in Almelo? An extensive HIGOLD Hardware collection. A combination of products in the bath, kitchen and wardrobe categories featuring the latest innovations and trends.

Visitors could not only look, but above all experience. Sit, feel, combine and discover how materials, colours and shapes come together to form a total concept. The showroom demonstrates how design contributes to guest experience and profitability, an important theme for every hospitality entrepreneur.

Culinary delights and warm hospitality

A grand event calls for matching culinary delights. And that’s exactly what we had. Throughout the day, guests were treated to refined snacks and high-quality dishes prepared by culinary advisors Garry de Boer and Nick Schutten, who took them on a journey through the world of taste, experience and quality. From delicious bites to surprising combinations, the food was the perfect complement to the inspiring surroundings.

Music, conviviality and a festive atmosphere

A celebration of this magnitude naturally calls for enjoyable and festive music. This was provided throughout the day by various artists and bands. Music filled the spaces, brought people together and gave the event a warm, lively atmosphere.

The combination of design, catering and entertainment made for a day that was all about inspiration, but where fun was just as important. An opening that will be talked about for a long time to come, but which is only the beginning of a great start at a brand new location.

A showroom as a calling card

The grand opening marks a new chapter for our company. The Hospitality Design Centre is our calling card, and we are rightly proud of it. It is a place where our vision of hospitality and guest experience comes to life and where we can showcase our latest collections to a wide audience.

HIGOLD flagship store expanded with HIGOLD Hardware

In addition to the luxury outdoor collections with lounge sets, dining sets and sun loungers, you can now also discover all HIGOLD hardware products. As mentioned earlier, these are collections for your bathroom, kitchen (think smart drawer systems) and cupboard spaces. In Almelo, you will find these extensive collections full of new innovations and handy solutions. The entire upper floor of our new showroom immerses you in the luxurious world of HIGOLD. Here too, our colleagues are ready to provide you with expert, tailored advice.
