Almost all indoor hospitality chairs in our range are fully customisable. Consider different fabric types for the seat and/or backrest, the wood colour of the frame, or the caps on the underside of the chair legs. For all customisable chairs, you will find a symbol with a colour palette on the website. If this is not present, it is a stock model that can only be ordered in the colour and material shown in the photo.

Most chairs in our collection have a seat height between 45 and 50 centimetres. For most people, this is the ideal height for sitting with their feet flat on the floor and their knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Of course, it is also important that there is sufficient (but not too much) space between the seat and the table height. Ideally, this distance should be between 25 and 30 centimetres. A hospitality chair is specifically designed for intensive and long-term use in restaurants, cafés and hotels. That is why hospitality chairs are generally sturdier, more durable and easier to maintain than regular dining chairs. They often feature hard-wearing upholstery, a strong construction and materials that can withstand frequent use and cleaning. A regular dining chair is primarily designed for use at home and therefore does not need to withstand the same level of heavy use.

In a restaurant, it is important to allow enough space around each chair. As a general guideline, allow approximately 60 cm of space per seat. In a busy restaurant, a little more space is preferable, so guests and staff can easily pass each other. The exact amount of space depends on the table arrangement, the type of chair and the desired walkways.

A good restaurant chair should above all be comfortable, sturdy and durable. Choose a chair that is suitable for intensive daily use, easy to clean and provides sufficient seating comfort for guests who spend longer periods at the table. The chair should also complement the style of the interior and be practical to use, for example with hard-wearing upholstery and a sturdy construction.

Suitable materials for hospitality chairs include wood, metal, plastic and aluminium. For upholstery, hard-wearing fabrics, faux leather and other easy-to-maintain materials are popular choices. The best option depends on the type of hospitality business and the intensity of use. Preferably choose materials that are durable, easy to clean and able to withstand intensive use.
