Heavy-duty cast iron with auto-level system

The Aida Big base is made entirely of cast iron. This heavy, solid material ensures that the table remains stable, even when guests lean on it or accidentally bump into it. The base plate has a diameter of 60 cm, providing a wide and sturdy foundation. The table base is 72 cm high, which is the standard height for a dining table. Thanks to the mounting plate on top, you can easily attach a table top using just a few screws. Choose a square table top up to 90 × 90 cm or a round table top up to Ø 110 cm. This makes it suitable for tables seating two to four people.

The auto-level system is its biggest advantage. Simply press down on the base with both hands, and it automatically adjusts to the surface. No more turning adjustable feet or placing beer mats under the table legs. This saves your staff time and prevents unnecessary frustration for your guests.

Resistant to weather, wear and cleaning

The table base is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its black coating protects the cast iron against rain and sunlight, helping to prevent fading and rust. To extend its lifespan, we recommend storing the bases in a dry place or covering them during the winter. Under normal use, cast iron is resistant to scratches and dents. Simply clean the base with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning products to keep the coating in good condition.

Which table top fits the Aida Big table base?

Most hospitality table tops come pre-drilled or have a mounting point in the centre. Thanks to its mounting plate, the base is compatible with almost any table top. If the table top is not pre-drilled, you can simply drill four screw holes into the plate yourself. For outdoor use, we recommend a compact HPL table top or one made from treated wood. These materials are colourfast, water-resistant and resistant to the heat from plates and cups. For indoor use, a melamine or laminated wood table top is also suitable. This allows you to match the material, colour and budget to your business.
