How do you turn your hospitality venue into a true brand experience? By Ami shows that it’s all about finding the right balance between atmosphere, concept, and details. In Rotterdam and The Hague, it has become well known: colourful, international, and always buzzing with energy. The dishes are surprising, but it’s the overall experience that truly leaves an impression. The moment you step inside, you’re transported into a world that feels perfectly cohesive from start to finish. You can now find By Ami at three different locations: urban bistros in The Hague and Kop van Zuid, Rotterdam, and the new By Ami Café in the Wijnhaven, Rotterdam.
Each location has its own atmosphere and story, yet together they form a recognisable By Ami experience: distinctive, colourful, warm, and always surprising. The strength lies in the layering: from artistic walls to rich materials, from unexpected details to bold patterns. Everything contributes to that feeling of being “somewhere else for a moment.” The Nilly and Bobby chairs, crafted in unique prints and colours, and the Vinnie sofas, which appear in every venue, create a clear signature. These elements connect the spaces while always adapting to the story of each location. In this way, a collection of interiors emerges that complement one another without ever feeling repetitive.
The magic of By Ami lies in daring to tell a story—and you feel it the moment you step inside. At Kop van Zuid, you’ll discover a magical fairytale filled with butterflies and dream-like details. In The Hague, you wander through an urban jungle with three distinct moods: from sunrise, to the warm glow of evening, to a neon-lit night brimming with Avatar energy.
And in Rotterdam city centre, a savannah awaits, where zebra accents, peacock prints, and warm materials come together to create a vibrant world. Despite the differences, the common thread remains clear: By Ami creates hospitality that goes beyond the dishes—the interior tells the story, and the guest becomes part of it.
